Eskibaglar
Okuzgozu Bogazkere Reserve 2013
Tasting Note
The robe is ruby with hints of purple. This is a pronounced red wine with liquorice, spicy and blackberry notes with a hint of mint on the nose. On the palate, it has ripe black fruits, caramel, mocha and a long finish.
Vinification
Hand harvest took place in second week of October. Bogazkere and Okuzgozu were co-fermented for one week in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine was matured in old Hungarian oak for one year. Finally 6 months bottle ageing took place. This elegant wine is a full representation of fertile crescent of Anatolia where Euphrates and Tigris begin their journey to Mesopotamia.
