Deep, ruby and hazy in appearance. Clean and pronounced on the nose with ripe red fruits, plums and a touch of deep forest. This full bodied red blend has flavours of red currant, black currant and jammy red plums.
After hand harvesting, the grapes were destemmed and crushed. Maceration lasted for 14 days. Lombarda remained in stainless steel vats for 9 months and aged for 12 months in bottle prior to release. Wine has not been filtered and may have deposits.
