San Martino DOCG 2010
Clear, medium ruby in colour with purple hints. On the nose, the wine has fresh vibrants aromas of ripe blackberries, black cherries with subtle vanilla and nutty nuances. This full bodied Barbera d’Asti has a touch of apricot and an elegant finish.
The grapes were hand harvested in small chests between 10th and 20th October. After soft crushing and skin contact of 60 to 70 days the wine remained in oak barrels for one year and one year in cement tank. San Martino was released after 18 to 24 months in bottle.
