Kalecik Karasi 2014
Clear, ruby in colour with a complex nose of black cherry, mullberry and blackberry aromas. On the palate, it has soft round tannins, medium body, and a long elegant finish. This 100% Kalecik Karasi can be enjoyed with light mediterranean dishes or on its own.
The grapes were hand harvested in 20 kg boxes in September 2014. The juice was fermented in stainless steel vats at 14°C after two days skin contact at low temperature. Alcoholic fermentation took place with two weeks maceration. After MLF in stainless steel vats, the wine was matured 30% in new French oak for nine months.
